We derived our name "nakhoda" from the Malay/Indonesian word of Farsi (Persian) origin that means captain or leader/lord of a ship.

TSURU ARTS is an arts and charity initiative by Nakhoda Books. Inspired by Japanese cultural arts, we specially curate items that serve to spread the message of peace, hope, and healing.
20% of all sales from TSURU ARTS are donated to the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).
