After The Rain

𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗮𝗶𝗻

(𝘵𝘳𝘢𝘯𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘰𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘭 𝘔𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘪𝘵𝘭𝘦𝘥 “𝘏𝘶𝘫𝘢𝘯 𝘚𝘶𝘥𝘢𝘩 𝘉𝘦𝘳𝘩𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪”)

The rain has stopped
but I am still sitting
and standing in stunned solitude
reminded of the sun’s promise
its light extinguishes fire
and its brightness blinding.
A voice forms
from the hollows of the heart
words of wisdom from philosophers:
The drops of rain that moisten
the barren land at twilight
shows more of your self
than the overflowing contents
of all the world.
