at the bottom of a ramen bowl;

need answering

or questions we know not

the answers to–

or is there a whole meaning

behind such a feeling

of spicy miso and mysterious

dashi of a different land

made foreign by their hands

but all the same, delicious–

what you may find, it has made

its way to your heart,

and your gut, and it pulls you

closer to yourself

under your very skin,

and you look for another bowl

to fill your ever hungry soul.
