March of the Unburdened
March of the Unburdened

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗨𝗻𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱
The road to revolution is
paved with confusion, of things
left and right, low in height but
tall in dreams, so it may seem
aspirational and outwardly
or deemed homely with a touch
of good old voice of reason
in a time of illusion, and a
many-splendoured thing;
only, but only, my lord–
if we unclip the wing and
let it sing the unburdened song
of right and wrong, from the
arms of Justitia, to the boulder
of Sisyphus, and the Albatross
around one’s neck. We risk
breaking and making, and
making and breaking, until
there is no one left to
continue the struggle, and so
we wait for prophecy, while
elevating mediocrity–
but never once do they hear
the cries of the revolutionary
and the convenient faithless
on this very road to Calvary.
